2025 ProStart Leadership Training

Hosted by the North Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association (NCRLA), this two-day ProStart leadership training is aimed at educators and administrators involved in the ProStart® culinary arts and restaurant management program. The objectives include:

Curriculum updates aligned with the ProStart Foundations of Restaurant Management & Culinary Arts levels 1 & 2

Classroom strategies and teaching approaches for engaging students in culinary and management concepts

Alignment with COA requirements (ProStart Certificate of Achievement), including exam procedures and 400 hours of documented work experience

Networking with industry professionals and opportunity to connect with local restaurants, equipment suppliers, and hospitality advocates

Best practices for student mentorship, competition prep, and classroom-to-workforce transition support
