2025 ProStart Leadership Training

Hosted by the North Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association (NCRLA), this two-day ProStart leadership training is aimed at educators and administrators involved in the ProStart® culinary arts and restaurant management program. The objectives include:

  • Curriculum updates aligned with the ProStart Foundations of Restaurant Management & Culinary Arts levels 1 & 2

  • Classroom strategies and teaching approaches for engaging students in culinary and management concepts

  • Alignment with COA requirements (ProStart Certificate of Achievement), including exam procedures and 400 hours of documented work experience

  • Networking with industry professionals and opportunity to connect with local restaurants, equipment suppliers, and hospitality advocates

  • Best practices for student mentorship, competition prep, and classroom-to-workforce transition support
